The 2nd of June saw a scientific and methodological seminar called “European Experience of Innovative Modular System”. By that time one more “Vkontacte” network community had been created.
The seminar was held in a conference hall (room 003, building 1, UdSU) hosting about 40 participants.
The participants were greeted by M.M. Kibardin, a vice-rector for academic and educational work.
I.A. Latypov, PhD, professor made a speech on the European experience of innovative modular system.
O.V. Menshatova, PhD, assistant professor briefed on the work program of “Innovative English language media in EU: role and functions” academic course.
The seminar resulted in the certificates on the completion of the course having been awarded to 14 grant project trainees issued by The Institute of Postgraduate and Professional Training.

Discussion of the module
“European experience of innovative culture
and intellectual property relations: communicative aspects”
It was in the form of discussion of positive and negative aspects of the 1st year of EICIPRC project. The Roundtable debate was intended to present the results of the 1st year of the educational module “European experience of innovative culture and intellectual property relations: communicative aspects” and a new course “Innovative English language Mass-media in EU: role and functions”.
The scientific materials and results of research of communicative aspects of European experience of innovative culture and intellectual property relations, educational results, methodological and methodical issues were discussed at the Roundtable debates.
The target groups were University students, researchers, postgraduate students, and professional groups, and civil society representatives.
The draft programme of the Roundtable debate was the following:
Presentation of course “European and homeland experience of innovative culture: communicative aspects”.
Presentation of course “European and homeland experience of intellectual property relations: communicative aspects”.
Discussion of the results of the 1st year of the module “European experience of innovative culture and intellectual property relations: communicative aspects”.
Presentation of course “Innovative English language Mass-media in EU: role and functions”.

In the second year, only one round table was planned on June 15, 2018, following the results of the second year of the module implementation.
One of the main problems of the round table was the following question: "What is the question for Russian subjects of innovation: "To be or not to be a European?"
On the one hand, the results of innovation activities of Russians should be the basis of intellectual property, primarily in Russia, and not abroad. On the other hand, why not study the communicative aspects of promoting and consolidating the results of innovation in the form of intellectual property?
Ιn total, 62 persons took part in the round table.
M.M. Kibardin (Vice-Rector of UdSU); N.I. Abasheva, Deputy Head of Press and Mass Communication Agency of Udmurtia; М.I. Beznosova, chief of International and Public Relations Office (IPRO) of UdSU addressed to participants with welcoming words.
A report on the European experience in the formation of an innovative modular system was made by Latypov I.A.
О.V. Menshatova made a report on the perspectives of the course "Innovative English-language media in the European Union: the role and functions".
The role of patent policy in the identifying the intellectual reserve of the university was characterized by А.I. Karmantchikov, chief of intellectual property protection sector of UdSU, Cand. in Pedagog. Sc., lecturer (first year module’s listener).
